Sports Day and General Information
Sports and inter-house activity day
On Friday the 3rd of February we will be having a fun inter-house sports and activity day. Please look at the attachment at the end of the letter to see what team your child has been allocated to in order for them to wear the correct colour clothing.
We have 2 teams, the Blue Team named “The Royals” and the White Team named “The Knights”.
The Blue team should wear a blue T-shirt, if they do not have a white shirt they can wear any shirt and then just add a blue ribbon or something visibly blue.
The White team should wear a white T-shirt, if they do not have a white shirt they can wear any shit and then just add a white ribbon or something visibly white.
We will be doing the following on Friday:
- Sprints
- Soccer
- Netball hoops
- Table Tennis
- WII Sport
- Making S’mores (Marshmallows melted between biscuits) and Chocolate Muffins
- Group puzzle solving activity
- Bean bag throwing competition
We hope to build spirit in the school by creating sports and team houses, like any other school.
School will close at 1pm on this day.

School Uniform
On Friday afternoon I will be collecting sample sizes of school uniform for fitting and placing of orders. We should then receive the clothing within a week.
Extra-Curricular and Extra Classes
We are currently in the process of looking for coaches for certain activities such as Soccer and chess and will advise once we have completed the interview process.
From next week we will be starting with the following extra-curricular:

Please note that this will be updated as we introduce more cultural and sporting activities.
It is important to encourage your child to attend Extra Tutorials if they are given a letter in order for us to assist them with school work.
Tuck shop
We now have a small start-up Tuck shop selling mainly Iced Guavas, Water, mini Chocolates, Lollipops and Jelly sweets and toffees. The price list can be found below:

We suggest that Grade R and RR only purchase sweets on a Friday as a treat. We are looking into further options to provide food as well in the very near future.
Textbooks
We will be placing textbook orders within this week which should take approximately two weeks for delivery. In the meantime, we are making copies of the pages we are doing for each learner.
